Saturday August the 26th
We will be at our regular venue; the John Cabbot Amphitheater at the end of Bowring Park, behind the splash and of the new fountain, starting at 12:00. Family event, Free for all.
This year, as every year for the past 7 editions, we will have a mix of local talent rendering international and local pieces and, conversely, newcomers, seduced by the local culture, will be rendering Canadian and Newfoundland and Labrador folk and new genres.
As a special treat we will be celebrating Terry Rielly’s “Teddy Bear Picnic” 40th anniversary. He will be hosting the original picnic at the Bannerman Park on Sunday August 13th.
Our line-up includes, but is not limited to:Latin Dance, Eastern Moves, Newfoundland and Labrador Folks, Swing Dance, Gypsy Heat, African Rhythms, and more as the call for performers is not closed just yet.
Stay tuned for our media, social media, and websites for the list of activities and fun we are planning for the whole family.
